A new railtour company, Westcountry Railtours, has announced its first railtour for 2022. Based in Taunton, the tours are all set to originate in the South West with the first one due to run on 11th June. Starting at Paignton and running to Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon, the tour will be hauled by a DB Cargo class 67 locomotive, with coaches from Riviera Trains. The pick up points after Paignton are Torquay, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Exeter St. David's, Tiveton Parkway and Taunton.

Future tours will also use DB Cargo traction, although it has been mentioned that DRS locomotives may also be used.
