The HST set that will be operated by Locomotive Services for a series of new charter trains has been released from Arlington Fleet Services, Eastleigh Works following its repaint into Midland Pullman livery. The Set with HST power cars M43055 & M43046 with Mk3 coaches 41176 + 41108 + 41162 + 41059 + 40801 + 41182 + 41169 + 44078 departed Eastleigh Works on the evening of Friday 30th November to head back to its home depot at Locomotive Services, Crewe.
The Midland Pullman is due to run a new series of railtours, but the launch has peen postponed after the new lockdown was announced on 31st October. The inaugural run from London St. Pancras has been postponed from 14th November to the 12th December. More information about Midland Pullman railtours can be found by: Clicking Here
Five test trains are due to run starting on Monday 2nd November for driver training before the Midland Pullman enters service on 12th December. These may run with on-loan ex-EMR HST power cars 43058/59 or the Midland Pullman HST set. These trains are in the system but can be cancelled at short notice depending on operational requirements.
